CD Contents

The Visual AccountMate/LAN LN510 CD contains the following components:

·    Visual AccountMate/LAN 5.0 Program Files

·    Microsoft Visual FoxPro 6.0 (Service Pack 5) Runtime Files

 

Installation Guide

The following Setup Types are available during the installation process.

Typical

This option will install Visual FoxPro 6.0 Runtime Library (system files) and create Windows shortcuts for your workstation to run VAM/LAN.

·    Choose this option if VAM/LAN has already been installed on a file server. Your workstation needs only these system files in order to run VAM/LAN from the file server.

·    Perform this installation procedure on all workstations that will be launching VAM/LAN.

Complete

This option will install Visual AccountMate/LAN 5.0 Program Files and Visual FoxPro 6.0 Runtime Library (system files).

·    Choose this option if you are installing VAM/LAN on a file server. (If the file server is not your local machine, the system files will still be installed on your local machine in order to run VAM/LAN.)

Important Changes

SAMPLE Data in 2005

The SAMPLE data are updated by moving the current fiscal year to 2005. Prior fiscal year is 2004 and Next fiscal year is 2006.
