The AccountMate 6.5 for LAN LN601 CD contains the following components:
· AccountMate 6.5 for LAN Program Files
· Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9.0 Runtime Files
We are adopting a new naming convention for executable files. They now contain the prefix “amlan” followed by the acronym of each module. For a complete list of all executable file name changes, refer to the AccountMate 6.5 for LAN (Build LN601) Technical Manuals. The new file naming convention requires that customers who are upgrading to AccountMate 6.5 for LAN delete the old AccountMate desktop shortcuts in all workstations. Two new desktop shortcuts will be created: one pointing to amlan.exe to launch the application and the other pointing to amlanadm.exe to launch the new LAN Administrator program. Unlike previous AccountMate LAN product releases, the administrator functions from the application program are now grouped into a separate Administrator program in AccountMate 6.5 for LAN.
AccountMate 6.5 for LAN introduces numerous significant feature enhancements to provide a dynamic and customizable business management and accounting solution. For a complete list and description of these feature enhancements, refer to the Information section of the AccountMate End-User Resource Center. AccountMate Resellers can also access the same information from the AccountMate 6.5 for LAN (Build LN601) Product Launch Bulletin.

The Administrator program will prompt you for the supervisor password when you launch it.
